Before creating a task, make sure your browser is configured to handle email links. When you shift-click here a new email should open in your prefered email client. If it does close it and continue. Otherwise click here to configure your browser.
Normally if you use Outlook, Apple Mail, or your phone's email client then email links will already be setup.
